On July 1st, I embarked on a writing journey, partially motivated by the lyrics of the song above (for musical reference, click the above link). After writing a few pieces on this platform since November 2022, I wanted to take it more seriously. I mapped out the synthesis of what then became the guiding principles of Paper Alfa. I firmly believed that combining educational free content with market-relevant thought pieces and opening part of my technical toolbox to subscribers would be a good way to start. I wasn’t wrong. What unfolded over the past few months was way more than I had envisaged. Powered by the support of my loyal and ever-growing subscriber base, I can certainly look back on this relatively short period with much pride. , who have recommended my work and given me additional motivation. A shared journey with very talented and like-minded people is so much more fun.While the story so far is extremely encouraging, I am in no mood to sit on my laurels. In many ways, the journey has only just begun. So far, I have focussed on providing you with the regular weekly publication ATW (Attack the Week), Friday Paper Charts and its timely alert updates for paying subscribers. Further, I have provided free educational content and primers as well as timeless thought pieces on various subjects. Those elements will continue to remain core to the offering as my foot remains firmly on the gas.
A few months ago, I added the Paper Alfa Macro Book (PAMB) to the publication mix, aiming to walk readers through a full investment process. While there are plenty of ideas in the pipeline, the newest addition, titled “Macroscope”, will join the current set-up shortly. Traditionally, a macroscope is imagined as an instrument that helps us see the “big picture” to understand systems too vast for the human eye to grasp in detail. By connecting the dots across a broad spectrum of economic data, Macroscope will offer a panoramic view of the financial world - a view that's both expansive and detailed. In simple terms, this translates to a unique perspective synthesising global economic trends and market dynamics into a no-nonsense and actionable format. I hope you are as excited as I am.
I give each additional publication its required resources and attention, scanning its purpose and fit within the current offering mix. Each building block has to be unique and valuable to my readers. That’s how I believe things are done and compounded properly. For currently paying subscribers, the value of your subscription is about to go up, but don’t worry, as your locked-in price will remain the same. If you are thinking about subscribing, I would encourage you to do so soon before I have finalised my new pricing.
