I started this blog precisely 8 months ago, on November 1st. I wasn’t really sure what to expect if I’m being honest. I wanted to use it as a sounding board and personal thought collection while slowly getting others to hopefully benefit from my writing. What began with occasional thought pieces has moved into both educational and market content.

Helping others is the driving force of this space and that will never change. I am humbled by how many people have started following me. Some of you have even reached out for advice on varying things and I hope I was useful in answering some of your questions.

What originally started as a counter to the dominance of many “gurus” out there who have no skin in the game but talk markets and big positions without having ever done it professionally, Paper Alfa has morphed into more, much more. Thanks to you and your much-appreciated following I am now encouraged to take this and make it grow further and stronger.

Paper is primarily a surface for recording information. As such, it exists to be obscured. Alfa is what hopefully my thought pieces and market views will result in over time, and I very much hope it has done that for you so far.

This next growth phase will be about producing and giving much more. The ideas are all there and about to be given life. As I will be taking time from my other pursuits in order to give more I will be moving to a paid subscription service. I value my time and work that goes into providing good content.

Do not worry, all my educational content will be free. That’s how it should be. I am excited about where this road is going to take us. Life is about making a difference, and that’s the firm goal I have set out with my commitment to this.

I will ask for a modest amount which is the equivalent of roughly 3 or 4 coffees a month in larger cities. All of this will be recycled into getting more information and tools available for subscribers. For early subscribers, I am offering a 20% discount which will be valid until August 1st (see link below).
